Prague, Czech Republic, May 15th 2025 - The Federation of European Fire Officers (FEU) is proud to announce the membership of the Brussels Fire Brigade, as the first-ever Brigade member in the federation's history. The unanimous decision was made at the Council meeting in Prague, Czech Republic, on May 15th 2025.
Brigade members are individual public fire services at a local, municipal or regional level. They are entitled to participate in the business of the Federation and to send officers to participate in FEU educational activities, knowledge sharing, to serve on FEU Committees and/or Working Groups. in order to allow their officers to participate in educational activities, information sharing etc.
Brussels’s appointment not only highlights exceptional leadership and contributions to fire and rescue services but also marks an important step in the FEU's mission to enhance collaboration and innovation within the industry.
FEU congratulates Brussels Fire Brigade on this historic achievement and looks forward to valuable contributions to the federation's strategic goals.
