The Federation of the EUropean fire officers Associations (FEU) is proud to announce that Mr. Peter Johansson of Finland has been awarded the Silver Cross of Merit, in recognition of his long-standing and outstanding contributions to the FEU community.
Mr. Peter Johansson has served as a Finnish delegate to the FEU since 2007, and throughout his tenure, he has exemplified the core values of professionalism, dedication, and collegiality. A calm, solid, and serious colleague, Mr. Peter Johansson has performed his role in an exemplary manner—consistently well-prepared for meetings and actively participating in discussions with constructive engagement.
He has represented Finland with integrity and clarity, effectively conveying his country's perspectives and helping to strengthen both cooperation and cohesion within the FEU. His thoughtful input has contributed meaningfully to the unity and executive capacity of the Federation.
Peter Johansson has also ensured that the work of the FEU is brought back to Finland, where he has actively shared knowledge, followed up on queries and requests, and made sure that Finland contributed meaningfully to joint efforts. In addition, he has played an important role in furthering FEU cooperation at the Nordic level, helping to strengthen regional collaboration within the wider European framework.
As Johansson’s delegation role comes to an end later this year, the FEU wishes to express its sincere gratitude for his dedicated service. The awarding of the Silver Cross of Merit reflects our deep appreciation for his valuable contributions to the mission and development of the Federation.
