For the first time in its history, the World Police & Fire Games are coming to the Netherlands. Rotterdam has been given the honour of organizing this large international mixed-sport event in the world. In the summer of 2022 almost 10,000 people who work in police, fire, customs and other corrections departments from all over the world will compete in more than 60 sports.

From 22 to 31 July 2022, fire brigades, police and customs meet and work together at this major international sporting event. And you can take part. Young, old, male, female, from all ranks of the fire brigade! The sports on offer are very diverse: from badminton to kite surfing and from triathlon to football. But also specific sports related to the services like the Ultimate Fire Fighter competition and shooting events. There are no limits or qualification requirements and athletes are classified by age. That's the WPFG!

Besides sportsmanship, teamwork and meeting people, the WPFG Rotterdam 2022 has another important objective: to increase respect and appreciation for caregivers. That is why the motto of this edition is: In Sport We Unite. Besides the many sports and 'side-events' in Rotterdam, an 'Athletes' Village' will be created. In other words, a vibrant meeting place for everyone involved in the games. In addition to valuable meetings, a cultural programme and (sports) demonstrations are offered.

WPFG Rotterdam 2022 is responsible for the organization of the Games in 2022. Dutch and international participants can register for the WPFG from 1 February 2022 via
